Knowledge Lighthouse – Free Community Library represents Zariya Trust’s commitment to long-term empowerment through education. Created with a simple belief that every young mind deserves an opportunity to learn, grow and dream bigger, it provides free access to books, learning resources and classes—helping young people build the knowledge and confidence to find their own path forward.
Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins shared a special message for the young people of Knowledge Lighthouse, encouraging them to learn, dream and make the most of the opportunities before them.
Knowledge Lighthouse was inaugurated on 10 July 2026 by H.E. Ms. May-Elin Stener, Ambassador of Norway to India, in the presence of students, villagers and invited guests.
Knowledge Lighthouse offers
- Free Library & Learning Resources — books and resources to encourage reading, curiosity and independent learning.
- Free English Classes — helping young people strengthen communication and confidence.
- Computers & Digital Learning — providing access to technology, with computer classes coming soon.
- Guidance & Mentorship — helping young minds explore careers, opportunities and possibilities.
- A Space to Learn & Grow — open to anyone with the desire to learn, irrespective of background.

Access to clean water remains a challenge for many rural communities. Zariya Trust has installed submersible water systems in villages, providing easier and more reliable access to water. These simple but essential interventions help improve health, hygiene and everyday quality of life for local families.
In times of need, access to something as basic as a meal can make a meaningful difference. Zariya Trust has supported families with essential dry ration and, through our annual community food initiative, distributed over 21,000 meals to travellers and people in need.
Our approach is simple — to offer timely support with care, dignity and compassion, whenever it is needed most.
Education is a powerful equalizer. Through our education support programs, we sponsor school fees for children from economically challenged backgrounds, allowing them to stay in school and work towards a brighter future.
Health emergencies can be devastating, especially for low-income families. We offer financial support for medical expenses, ensuring individuals receive the necessary treatment during their most difficult times.
Each winter, Zariya Trust organizes an annual distribution of blankets and quilts to bring warmth and comfort to vulnerable communities. This initiative provides essential protection against harsh weather conditions for families and individuals lacking adequate shelter and heating.
